Join AEDP Rocky Mountains in welcoming SueAnne Piliero, Ph.D. and senior faculty of the AEDP Institute for a two day workshop on bringing your full, bold self to you clinical practice.
Location: TBD Denver, Colorado
Date/Time: Friday, October 23, 2020. 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. AND Saturday, October 24, 2020 9:00-4:30
This two-day workshop, which is rooted in AEDP theory and techniques, will demonstrate how to transform suffering and toxic shame through what I refer to as “Fierce Love”, i.e., bringing the therapist’s bold embodied presence into the healing equation. Specifically, I will illustrate how to bring your Self more fully into the patient’s healing journey when dealing with deep emotional pain, pathogenic affects (e.g. toxic shame, internal blame and self denigration) unbearable aloneness, and entrenched defenses. In addition to viewing lots of clinical video tape there will also be experiential exercises around the personal and professional challenges of bringing ourselves more fully into the patient’s healing journey.
Whether you are an AEDP veteran or new to the model, I am confident that this presentation with be helpful to you in continuing to develop and hone your AEDP skills and grow your our unique therapist’s “Self.” Below you will find the link to the registration page, as well as the course description and details.
